  1. What services do you offer?
    I offer online & In-person counselling and psychotherapy services. My approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.

  2. How do online sessions work?
    Online sessions are conducted via a secure video platform so you can attend from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I’ll send you a link before each session, and all you need is a device with internet access.

  3. What can I expect in the first session?
    The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your goals, any concerns you have, and what you’d like to work on. It’s also a time for you to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit for each other.

  4. How long are the sessions?
    Sessions typically last 60 minutes. However, if you feel you’d benefit from longer or shorter sessions, please let me know, and we can discuss options.

  5. What are your fees, and do you offer sliding scale rates?
    My fees are mentioned on the booking page. I do offer a sliding scale for those experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me to discuss your situation, and we can work something out.

  6. How often should I attend sessions?
    The frequency of sessions depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions, but we can adjust the frequency to fit your unique situation.

  7. What is your approach to counselling?
    I believe therapy should be customised to each individual’s experiences. I focus on creating an empathetic, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards your personal goals.

  8. Are sessions confidential?
    Yes, all sessions are confidential. I adhere to strict ethical guidelines to ensure your privacy. There are some legal exceptions, which I’ll discuss with you in our first session.

  9. What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
    I understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee.

  10. How do I know if counselling is right for me?
    Counselling can be beneficial for anyone looking for support, personal growth, or a space to process their emotions. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have to help you decide.

  11. What types of therapy modalities and techniques do you use?
    I use a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. These include Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, among others. I also draw on techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Narrative Therapy. My approach is integrative, meaning I combine elements from different modalities to create a personalised experience that supports your individual journey and goals.
